District 9 Schools

Our Location

New York City Community School District 9 is located on the western edge of the South Bronx, in the neighborhoods of Claremont, Concourse, Highbridge, Morrisania, Morris Heights and University. We are home to Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and Roberto Clemente State Park.

Our Schools

We aim to bolster inclusion and meet the diverse needs of our scholars close to home. Our district hosts a variety of specialized programs across our elementary and middle schools: ACES, Bi-Lingual Special Education, Horizon, I Read, Nest, and Path.
