Astrid Jacobo, District Achievement Instructional Specialist (DAIS)
Astrid Jacobo was inspired to become an educator as a result of her pre-teaching program at her high school in the Bronx.
As a teacher, staff developer, and administrator her goal has always been to ensure that all students learn in a space where they can enter with their full humanity and can be seen and heard.
Currently, Astrid is serving District 9 in the role of Teacher Development Evaluation Coach.
